Halloween at the Lake: Kids and Families

Trunk-or-treats, not-so-scary parties and the best trick-or-treat streets around Lake of the Ozarks, 2026

Halloween at the lake is run by our schools, churches, parks departments and neighbors, and it shows. Here is where to take the kids this year, from a not-so-scary party for little ones to a lantern-lit cave walk for the brave, plus the streets locals say are worth the walk on Halloween night.

We checked every event on this page against the organizer's own website or Facebook page in mid-October 2026. Plans change, so take a quick look at their page before you head out.

Palmer Drive off Highway HH is one of the busiest neighborhoods at the lake. The Ozark Meadows subdivision behind Hy-Vee is another favorite.
Eldon
Countryside Estates fills up with trick-or-treaters starting around 5pm.
